Zwracam się z ogromną prośbą o pomoc w odbudowie mieszkania moich rodziców, Iwony i Dariusza Skiba. Już dwukrotnie dotknęła nas powódź (w 1997r oraz w 2009r). Niestety dwie poprzednie okazały się niczym, w porównaniu z tym, co spotkało nas teraz.

W Stroniu Śląskim, po zerwaniu się wału na zaporze wodnej, kilkumetrowa fala zmyła wszystko co napotkała na swojej drodze. W mieszkaniu woda zalała po sufit kuchnię oraz łazienkę. Niestety wdarła się również do pokoi. Moi rodzice, którzy nigdy nie prosili nikogo o pomoc, a wręcz zawsze spieszyli aby pomóc tym, którzy ucierpieli bardziej, stracili wszystko ( sprzęt AGD, meble, ubrania, itd.) Cały ich dorobek spłynął wraz z niszczycielską falą. 

Przez najbliższe miesiące nie będą mogli zamieszkać w swoim mieszkaniu. Aktualnie zerwane już zostały panele podłogowe, ścienne. Całość wymaga profesjonalnego osuszenia przed zbliżającą się zimą i gruntownego remontu. Zalana została również cała elektryka.

Bardzo proszę o pomoc, choćby najmniejszą i już teraz dziękuję za okazane wsparcie i Wasze wielkie serca. Wierzę, że razem możemy przywrócić im wiarę w to, że jeszcze będzie dobrze. Dziękuję w imieniu swoim i rodziców.

I am asking for help in rebuilding the apartment of my parents, Iwona and Dariusz Skiba. We have already been affected by floods twice (in 1997 and 2009). Unfortunately, the previous two turned out to be nothing in comparison to what happened to us now.

In Stronie Śląskie, after the embankment of a dam broke, a several-meter wave washed away everything in its path. The kitchen and the bathroom wer filled with water completely to the ceiling. Unfortunately, the water from the river also broke into the rooms. My parents, who have never asked anyone for help and in fact have always tried helping those who suffered more, lost everything (all household appliances, furniture, clothes etc). All their achievements washed away with the destructive wave.

They will not be able to live in their apartment for the next few months. Currently, the floor and the wall panels have already been torn off. The whole thing requires professional drying before the upcoming winter and a thorough renovation. The entire electrical system was also flooded.

I am asking for help, even the smallest one, and I am already grateful for your support and your big hearts. I believe that together we can restore their faith that everything will be fine. Thank you on behalf of myself and my parents.
