Drodzy przyjaciele i chętni do pomocy,

Jesteśmy grupą przyjaciół z Warszawy, która nie mogła usiedzieć w miejscu, widząc horror i tragedię uchodźców z UA. Dlatego postanowiliśmy wynająć dom, tworząc bezpieczne miejsce, w którym mogliby odpocząć, nie obawiając się o bezpieczeństwo swoje i swoich dzieci. Mieliśmy ogromne szczęście, bo znaleźliśmy bardzo duży dom, który z łatwością pomieści kilka rodzin i hojnego właściciela, który nie pobiera czynszu.

Jednak dom jest zupełnie pusty. Jesteśmy w trakcie zbierania najpotrzebniejszych produktów i mebli do domu. Nadal brakuje nam sprzętów AGD, takich jak lodówki, kuchenki, pralki. To oczywiście dopiero początek, bo trzeba też pozyskać środki na pokrycie rachunków - gaz, ogrzewanie, ciepłą wodę, prąd, ewentualnie dostęp do telewizji i internetu. Staramy się również wspierać ich artykułami spożywczymi i niezbędnymi kosmetykami itp.

Teraz mamy w domu 12 osób, w tym dzieci w wieku od 1,5 do 13 lat. Jutro dołączy nowa rodzina. Od początku założyliśmy, że chcemy, aby większe grupy ludzi znalazły schronienie, abyśmy mogli wykorzystać przestrzeń, którą mamy.

Przygotowujemy się na maraton, a nie sprint, dlatego podjęliśmy decyzję o tej zbiórce i prosimy o wsparcie w zebraniu środków finansowych, aby to wszystko było możliwe. Bardzo ważne jest dla nas znalezienie środków na opłaty za media, ale także na pierwsze potrzeby mieszkańców.

Dear friends and those who are willing to help,

We are a group of friends from Warsaw/Poland that couldn't stay still seeing the horror and tragedy of UA refugees. Thus we decided to rent a house, creating a safe place where they could rest, and not fear for the safety of their kids. We had enormous luck, finding a very large house that can shelter easily several families, and a generous owner, who won't charge rent.

However, the house is totally empty. We are in the process of gathering the most necessary products and furniture for the house. We are still missing household appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, and washing machines. Naturally, that's only the beginning as we also need to obtain the financial means to cover bills - gas, heating, warm water, electricity, possibly access to television and the Internet. Also, we are trying to support them with groceries and necessary cosmetics etc.

Now we have 12 people in the house, including kids between 1 and a half to 13 years. And the new families will come.

From the beginning, the assumption was that we want larger groups of people to find shelter, so that we can use the space we have.

We are preparing for a long run and not the sprint, thus a decision to make this fundraiser, and ask for your support in gathering the financial means to make all of this possible.

It is very important for us to find funds for utility payments, but also for the first needs of the residents.
