Hi!
I am happy to report that everything went according to plan. We have delivered the truck to one of the units of the Ukrainian Army! 💪🏻💛💙
The car arrived from the UK last week. Navara required basic maintenance (oil change, filters etc), it also underwent a technical check up to make sure it was reliable and safe to operate. Also, we have slightly refreshed the paintwork 🙃
Earlier this week, we drove the car to Kyiv. There, we handed it over to a military unit which currently operates in the east of the country. We were assured that the car would be put into action as soon as possible.
The guys were very happy to have received it and asked us to pass a huge THANK YOU to all of you who have contributed so generously!
During our stay in Kyiv, I met with friends who shared with me their horrific war stories. It was a good reminder why we should do our best to help Ukraine defeat he aggressor. A car with a driver inside crushed by a 🇷🇺 armoured vehicle in Kyiv city center. Neighbours shot to death at a checkpoint in Irpin in a civilian car. A mortar round blowing up my other friend's apartment in Bucha. These are just three out of thousands of similar stories.

Description

Since 24 February 2022, Ukraine has been fighting off a full-scale Russian invasion. After successfully repelling the attack around Kyiv, Chernihiv and Sumy, the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) are now fighting off a Russian offensive in the east of the country 💪🏻.

UAF is fighting very bravely, but their fortitude needs our concrete support. One of the most needed equipment items at the front lines are 4x4 vehicles (Toyota Hilux, Nissan Navara, Mitsubishi L200 or similar). They are the troops' lifeline - they transport soldiers, supplies and evacuate casualties.

Together with two friends we have decided to support UAF by purchasing a 4x4 and handing it over to a paratrooper platoon fighting in Donbas. The car will be handed over through a Ukrainian organization, which coordinates material donations directly with the UAF. Your donation will support purchasing the vehicle, servicing and respraying it to make sure it is safe to operate and reliable.
