🇬🇧 In the midst of the war in Ukraine, we are setting up a small initiative: raising 6000 zloty to support a daycare offering lunches to 20 refugee children in Warsaw.

Zielona Przystań (Green Harbor) is a daycare for refugee kids from Ukraine run by a local kindergarten in Warsaw, Zielone Przedszkole (Green Kindergarten). They are offering safe space to play and learn, psychological help and support from other specialists and warm lunches. They are supporting 20 refugee children, from 2.5 to 11 years old from all around Ukraine, who fled the war, crossed the Polish border and are now in Warsaw.

Our goal is to support them and raise the initial goal of 6000 zloty for the daily lunches.

Zielona Przystań is already working with amazing volunteers and local support and we want to help them continue this important work. Each meal, a warm soup and a meal costs 15 zloty. That’s 2.50 £ / 3 € / 3.30 $. Multiplying these costs for 20 kids for one month, we have 6000 zloty to raise (1050 £ / 1250 € / 1400 $).

Your 3 € makes a difference, your 60 € helps to cover the lunch costs of one child for a month. Everything in between and above is simply incredible. 100% of your donation goes directly to Zielona Przystań. Once we reach the initial goal, we hope to continue supporting them in other initiatives they are running: language courses for the refugee children and their caretakers, providing clothes and toys and individual needs of the refugee families.

Zielona Przystań (Puerto Verde) es una guardería para niños refugiados de Ucrania dirigida por el jardín de infantes Zielone Przedszkole (Jardin Verde). Zielone Przedszkole ofrece un espacio seguro para jugar y aprender, ayuda psicológica y apoyo de otros especialistas y almuerzos diarios a 20 niños refugiados, de entre 2,5 y 11 años, de toda Ucrania, que huyeron de la guerra.

Nuestro objetivo es apoyarlos y recaudar la meta inicial de 6000 zloty (1050 £ / 1250 euro / 1400 $) para cubrir los almuerzos diarios por un mes. 

Zielona Przystań trabaja con increíbles voluntarios y cuenta con apoyo local, pero necesita de ayuda para continuar con este importante trabajo. Cada comida cuesta 15 zloty. Que sería £2,50 / 3 euros / $ 3,30. Multiplicando estos costos por 20 niños por un mes, da 6000 zloty para recaudar (1050 £ / 1250 euro / 1400 $).
