Jesień to czas przygotowań na chłodne, ciemne zimowe miesiące, więc każdego roku nasz zespół Eco Stream Poland organizuje zbiórkę pieniędzy, aby wesprzeć schronisko lub inną fundację non-profit, która pomaga zwierzętom.

W tym roku zbieramy fundusze dla Azylu dla Świń Chrumkowo. Chcielibyśmy więc zaprosić was do uczestnictwa, liczymy na was! Pokażmy tym ryjkom, że zależy nam na ich losie ♡ Każdy grosz się liczy, więc śmiało dorzućcie ile wam wasze dobre serce podpowie 😊

Kilka słów od opiekunów z Chrumkowa:

Azyl dla Świń Chrumkowo powstał z miłości do świn. Zaczęło się od jednej świnki, potem przyjechała kolejna i kolejna. Obecnie opiekujemy się 80 świniami różnych ras i gabarytów. 

To 80 osobowości, 80 bijących serc, 80 historii, 80 imion. Człowiek tak naprawdę nigdy nie dał świni możliwości pokazania jaka jest naprawdę. Zamiast tego zgotował jej piekło na ziemi. Wszystko co dała jej natura obrócił przeciwko niej: to, że szybko tyje, że lubi jeść, że szybko dojrzewa, że jest płodna. Zabrał jej też wszystko czym obdarzyła ją natura. Świnie mają więcej kubków smakowych od człowieka, a w hodowli jedzą ciagle tę samą paszę. W hodowlach są pozbawione możliwości realizacji wszystkich potrzeb gatunkowych. Są sprowadzone do roli produktu. 

Naszym celem jest nie tylko ratowanie ich od rzeźni, ale także zwracanie im świńskości. Dajemy możliwość rycia, kąpieli błotnych, nawiązywania relacji z innymi świniami, a także rozpieszczamy ich podniebienie. 

Rolą azylu jest zmiana postrzegania świń – nie jako mięso lecz zwierzęta towarzyszące. Azyl jest formą aktywizmu. Na niektórych działają rozmowy, inni potrzebują zobaczyć transport śmierci. Gros ludzi otwiera się, gdy ma kontakt ze świnią. Pokazujemy ludziom świnie takimi jakie są naprawdę. Chodzi o to, żeby nie kojarzyły się z kotletem lecz z cudownymi, mądrymi, czułymi zwierzętami, które chcą po prostu żyć. 

Utrzymanie takiej liczby zwierząt i zapewnienie im godnego i zdrowego życia, to ogromne koszty, a w obecnych trudnych czasach, jest nam wyjątkowo ciężko. Jesteśmy organizacją non profit i nie otrzymujemy żadnego instytucjonalnego wsparcia.

                 Autumn is the time of preparation for cold, dark winter months, so every year our Eco Stream Poland team organizes a fundraiser to support an animal shelter or some other sort of non-profit foundation helping animals.

                 This year we’re raising funds for the Pig Asylum “Chrumkowo” and we’d like to invite you to participate, we’re counting on you! Let’s show them snouties that we care about them ♡ Every little coin counts, so go ahead and chip in with whatever your kind heart can 😊

The gathered amount will be used entirely to purchase food (fruits and vegetables) for Asylum's residents.

A few words from the Chrumkowo caretakers:

                 The Asylum for Pigs Chrumkowo was created out of love for pigs. It started with one pig, then came another and another. We currently look after 80 pigs of various breeds and sizes.

These are 80 personalities, 80 beating hearts, 80 stories, 80 names. Man has never really given a pig an opportunity to show what it really is. Instead, he made them hell on earth. Everything that nature has given them has turned against her: that she gets fat quickly, that she likes to eat, that she matures quickly, that she is fertile. He also took away everything that nature had given them. Pigs have more taste buds than humans, and in a farm they eat the same feed over and over again. In farms, they are deprived of the possibility of meeting all the needs of the species. They are reduced to the role of the product.

                 Our goal is not only to save them from the slaughterhouse, but also to return their piggyness to them. We give the possibility of rooting, mud baths, establishing relationships with other pigs, and pampering their palate.

                 The role of asylum is to change the perception of pigs - not as meat but as companion animals. Asylum is a form of activism. For some just a conversation will work, others need to see the death transport itself. Most people open up when they come into contact with a pig. We show people pigs as they really are. The point is that they should not be associated with a burger, but with wonderful, wise, affectionate animals that just want to live.

                 Maintaining such a large number of animals and ensuring them a dignified and healthy life is a huge cost, and in these difficult times, it is extremely difficult for us. We are a non-profit organization and do not receive any institutional support.
