Mr. Somesureddy had arrived in Poland on October 13, 2023, to work as a welder. He was admitted to the hospital due to health problems, and he eventually passed away on December 16, 2023, due to severe complications. Unfortunately, he was the only earning member of the family and was survived by his wife and an 8-month-old baby back in India.

The Poland Telugu Association (PoTA), has taken on the responsibility of taking care of the formalities here in Poland to send the mortal remains to his family in India. Due to the family's financial conditions, they have agreed to complete the cremation in Poland and send the ashes to India. PoTA has taken on the challenging role of coordinating among the family members, the employer in Poland, and the Indian Embassy to provide all the support and information to the family to complete the documentation and required procedures to send the ashes, with the help of the Indian Embassy. We greatly appreciate the efforts and time invested by the Embassy staff to expedite the process of sending the remains to the deceased family.

We are hereby appealing to all the fellow Indian community in Poland to kindly come forward in such critical times to support the grieved family, who are left with no financial support and have lost the pillar of the family unexpectedly. The collected funds will be split for the child's educational security, and the remaining funds will be for the family's basic immediate and future needs.
