Description
On February 6, Turkey has been hit by devastating earthquakes; first one in the early morning hours, reaching a magnitude of 7.7, followed by a 7.6 magnitude one, just 9 hours afterwards. Both are classified as "major earthquakes" and stated to be in the power of 130 nuclear bombs.
- More that 13 million people in 11 provinces are affected
- 48,000+ people lost their lives and it is counting
- 129,000+ people got injured
There are millions of people in the area, depending on others help, in those cold, wet winter days. Any donation, no matter how small, will help to provide shelter, food, medical supplies etc. to those in need.
