3 lipca w Ząbkach, przy ul. Powstańców 62 wybuchł pożar, który zmusił moją siostrę – Paulinę Pachocką, mamę 11-letniego Gabriela – do natychmiastowego opuszczenia płonącego budynku. Wyszła tak, jak stała, bez możliwości zabrania czegokolwiek. Po pożarze miała krótką możliwość wejścia do mieszkania, by zabrać tylko to, co niezbędne.

Od tamtej chwili jej mieszkanie jest całkowicie niedostępne, a przyszłość budynku pozostaje niepewna. Nie wiadomo, czy i kiedy będzie możliwy powrót.

Paulina nadal spłaca kredyt hipoteczny za lokal, z którego nie może korzystać. Równocześnie musi wynająć nowe mieszkanie, wyposażyć je i zapewnić synowi poczucie bezpieczeństwa w tej trudnej i nagłej sytuacji.

W przyszłości, jeśli budynek nie będzie wyburzany, konieczny będzie kompleksowy remont – ogień i dym przeniknęły przez szyby wentylacyjne, uszkadzając struktury łazienek i ścian. Dym osadził się w tynku i wymagać będzie profesjonalnego czyszczenia lub wymiany powierzchni. Sytuacja jest dla Pauliny bardzo obciążająca psychicznie i finansowo.

Dlatego zwracam się z prośbą o wsparcie finansowe oraz o udostępnianie, co pozwoli w jakimś stopniu odbudować stabilne życie.

On July 3rd in Ząbki, at Powstańców 62, a fire broke out that forced my sister – Paulina Pachocka, mother of 11-year-old Gabriel – to leave the burning building within minutes. She had to walk out with nothing but the clothes she was wearing. After the fire, she was briefly allowed back inside to collect only the most essential items.

Since then, her apartment has been completely inaccessible, and the future of the building remains uncertain. It is not clear if, or when, returning will even be possible.

Paulina is still paying the mortgage on a home she can no longer live in. At the same time, she has to rent a new apartment and provide her son with a sense of stability and safety in this unexpected and difficult situation.

In the future, if the building is not demolished, a full-scale renovation will be necessary – fire and smoke penetrated through the ventilation ducts, damaging the structures of bathrooms and walls. Smoke settled into the plaster and will require professional cleaning or surface replacement. The situation is extremely burdensome for Paulina, both mentally and financially.
