Description
I want to change the world—on a cosmic, quantum, scientific, and social scale.
Will you join me?
I graduated from Stanisław Staszic High School No. XIV in Warsaw (the best in Poland) with a grade point average of 5.76 (the highest in the school). Now, a dream I have been working hard for for years has come true: after a multi-stage recruitment process, I have been accepted to study at Cambridge University.
Physical Natural Sciences is the only program in the world that will allow me to study several fields at the same time: physics, mathematics, nanoscience, and cognitive science. The interdisciplinary scientific approach is an opportunity for me to develop comprehensively in the field of quantum physics. It will also be an important starting point for sharing my knowledge with others in a better and more modern way in the future.
I worked for three years (often more than 10 hours a day) to save up for my dream studies. I have already managed to save enough money to cover almost the entire first year of my studies. University regulations prohibit working during studies, so these savings are the limit of my financial capabilities. That is why I am asking you for your support. I hope that the fundraiser will help me pay for one year of studies, and external and internal scholarships will cover the following years.
My mission: to prove that science is not difficult or boring. Every day, I educate young people in this field, with a particular focus on girls and young women. That is why I am co-organizing Europe's largest event for women in technology and science, the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2025.
I lead the Polish Branch of the Girls in Quantum foundation (listed by Nature Magazine), which brings together and inspires 20,000 female quantum physics enthusiasts from six continents. Together with Quantum Technologies Flagship (worth €1 billion), we are building a European Quantum Strategy for the coming decades.
It is important for me to work for science in Poland. I implement innovative educational solutions and educate young people who will form the future staff of the Polish scientific sector. I work with the Ministry of Digital Affairs, the Ministry of Education, and the Center for Education Development. I co-organize a training course for Polish physics teachers at CERN. I plan to continue these activities during my studies at Cambridge University.
I believe that the situation of Polish students in the United Kingdom needs to be publicized. Since Brexit, we have been paying at least three times higher tuition fees at universities. As a winner of the European Charlemagne Youth Prize for my work with young people, I am in talks with the Vice-President of the European Parliament about restoring lower tuition fees (home fees) for students from the European Union. This would be a real breakthrough for the most talented Polish students. I don't want them to have to face the prospect of raising a million zlotys for their dream studies in the coming years.
I am happy to answer any questions about applying to study in the UK and to support young, ambitious candidates in their fight for places at UK universities. Please contact me at:
I will keep you updated on the progress of the fundraising campaign by email: if you would like to receive messages from me, please contact me.
