Viktor ma 28 lat i od dziecka cierpi na ciężki niedosłuch. Pod koniec lipca Maria, mama Victora poprosiła mnie o pomoc w ewakuacji syna z Mykolaiv Oblast, które wtedy było pod silnym ostrzałem. At the end of July, Maria, Victor's mother, asked me for help in evacuating her son from Mykolaiv Oblast, which was then under heavy fire. Thanks to an amazing New Zealander, Tenby Powell, whom I met in an aid group, Viktor was successfully evacuated! As a result of shelling and bombing, Viktor's hearing has deteriorated significantly, but a hearing aid can help him.

Viktor in Ukraine was a professional swimmer. He spent summers and autumn with his mother in a trailer. As long as the season lasted, Maria worked. After the season ended, they were fortunately taken in by an old lady, but she lives outside the village and has no access to transport, and thus to work. So far, Viktor has no chance of finding a job, but with the help of a hearing aid, the situation may change. The spring season is approaching, then the summer season and there is a chance to find a seasonal job, maybe even rent an independent apartment.
