Rescue the Szczecin Skate Room!

Hi fellow skaters.

We are a bunch of skate buddies from Szczecin, Poland and last year we made our greatest dream come true and created our own skate room!... with a miniramp and other little obstacles and more in the making. During winter everything worked fine but now in the summer, most kids are skating outside and far less people opts in for a paid session. As you can imagine, we run out of money quickly as we continued to pay rent and to build. We bought material to finish planned obstacles for the season ahead. 

Somehow, we must survive these four months of glourious Polish summer until rain and bad weather invites the kids back into our skate room. 

So we appeal to all our Friends and Skating Family! This is the only roofed spot in the city, and it would be really sad to see it close down. Therefore please, if you are able to donate a few Zloty, Euros, Pounds, Dollars or whatever to help us survive you would make a bunch of skaters really happy. Zrzutka.pl is a free Polish crowdfunding platform which is widely used in Poland for projects like ours. Every little helps, every penny counts but for us it'd mean the world and help the project survive.

Jesteśmy ekipą skejtów ze Szczecina i w zeszłym roku udało nam się w końcu urzeczywistnić nasze wielkie marzenie i stworzyć w Szczecinie małą skejthalę z minirampą i kilkoma innymi przeszkodami (niektóre są jeszcze w budowie). W zimie fajnie to wszystko hulało, ale od kiedy pogoda się poprawiła, młodziaki chodzą skejtowac na zewnątrz i zbieramy po prostu za mało kasy, żeby kupić materiały i przede wszystkim, żeby opłacać czynsz za halę. Musimy coś wykombinować, żeby przetrwać cztery ciepłe miesiące, do czasu aż pogoda znów się popsuje i młodzi wrócą jeździć w hali. W mieście nie ma żadnego innego spotu pod dachem, więc byłoby naprawdę szkoda, gdybyśmy musieli to zamknąć. Jeżeli mielibyście na zbyciu dyszkę czy dwie, żeby się dorzucić i nas wspomóc na zrzutka.pl, to byloby super i przyczynilibyście się do dobrych trików niejednego skejta. Możecie nam także pomóc, kupując nasze deski Euforia Skateboards ( https://www.instagram.com/euforiaskateboards ), które sami wykonujemy, żeby finansować ten projekt. Każda złotówka się liczy i przybliży nas do osiągnięcia celu, którym jest uratowanie hali na okres wakacji.

Moin Skatergemeinde,

Wir sind ein paar Skatekumpels aus Stettin, Polen und letztes Jahr haben wir endlich unseren größten Traum verwirklicht und uns unseren eigenen Skateroom mit Miniramp und ein paar anderen Obstakles (manche sind noch im Werden) gebaut. Im Winter hat das auch ganz gut geklappt aber seit das Wetter wieder besser ist, gehen die Kids halt draußen skaten und wir bekommen einfach zu wenig Geld rein um Material zu kaufen aber vor allem um die Miete zu bezahlen. Irgendwie müssen wir die vier Monate Sommer überleben, bis das schlechte Wetter die Kids wieder in unseren Skateroom treibt. Es gibt gibt keinen anderen Indoor Spot in der Stadt und es wäre einfach super traurig, wenn wir das Ding wieder dichtmachen müssten. Wenn Ihr also den ein oder anderen Euro übrig hättet um uns zu unterstützen, würdet ihr ein paar alte Skater super glücklich machen. Zrzutka.pl ist eine kostenlose Crowdfunding Plattform, die in Polen weit verbreitet ist um Projekte wie unseres zu unterstützen. Salut à toute la communauté des skaters,

Nous sommes quelques potes de skate de Szczecin, en Pologne et l’année dernière, nous avons réalisé un rêve, construire notre propre skate-park indoor avec une mini-rampe et quelques autres obstacles (dont certains encore à venir…). 

Cet hiver le skate-park a bien fonctionné, mais maintenant que les beaux jours sont là, les jeunes préfèrent faire du skate dehors et l’argent devient un problème pour acheter du matériel, mais surtout pour payer le loyer. Nous devons réussir à passer les quatre mois d’été, jusqu’à ce que le mauvais temps fasse revenir les skaters en salle. 

Il n’existe pas d’autre spot couvert en ville et ça serait vraiment dommage d’être obligés de fermer la halle. 

Si jamais vous avez quelques euros en fond de poche pour nous soutenir, vous feriez des heureux parmi de vieux skaters encore pleins de rêves. zrzutka.pl est une plateforme de crowdfunding assez connue en Pologne et qui permet de soutenir des projets comme le nôtre.
