AMS support for Ukraine’s Territorial Defense Forces / Power for Ukraine - supporting Ukraine's Territorial Defence Forces by AMS

AMS support for Ukraine’s Territorial Defense Forces / Power for Ukraine - supporting Ukraine's Territorial Defence Forces by AMS

Description

Ukraine’s heroic military efforts to defend its territory and independence which the democratic world has been supporting and assisting for almost 2 months is one such moment. Today, the AMS is joining in the efforts of the Free World in support of Ukraine and its people in relentless struggle for freedom and territorial integrity against Russian aggression.

To this effect, the AMS community is now launching a fund-raising campaign serving to collect financial resources to strengthen the operations of Ukraine’s Territorial Defense Forces. Their primary role is to protect the civil population on war affected territories, their property and the infrastructure from emergencies and consequences of military actions.

The Territorial Defense Forces were established only in January this year and soon become overburdened with numerous civil protection tasks while the whole country is struggling to maintain independence and territorial integrity against a formidable foe. The resources of the newly-established Territorial Defense remain scarce and severely insufficient in this predicament as the country is confronted with the ongoing invasion and Ukraine’s national identity remains in serious danger.

Our goal is to collect monies for the cause which will be then forwarded to Ukraine’s Territorial Defense. The most acute needs in the current situation are: purchase of Diesel generators and solar panels which will help civilians coping with electricity blackouts, running water and heating shortages resulting from destruction of the infrastructure in cities and towns affected by the war.

We hope to raise the amount of at least 2.000 USD and provide Ukraine’s Territorial Defense Forces with Diesel generator which will be used as autonomous emergency power-supply.

We hope to raise the amount of at least 2000 USD (1 Diesel electricity generator costs app.1500 USD and 10 of these are presently badly needed). We understand that this is a substantial amount to collect but strongly believe that there is a lot of not indifferent, sympathetic hearts in the AMS community (as proved to be the case in the past) and we will make it together !!!
