Drodzy przyjaciele,

To przesłanie kieruję do Was i do wszystkich, którzy chcieliby wesprzeć Ukrainę. Czujemy się zobowiązani stanąć po stronie Ukrainy w tych dniach przepełnionych lękiem. Federacja Rosyjska wystrzeliła rakiety i atakowała niewinnych ludzi w całym kraju. W zeszły czwartek obudziliśmy się w nowej rzeczywistości i nadal pozostajemy w rozsypce, zdruzgotani tym, co się dzieje. Te wydarzenia sprawiają, że priorytety w naszym życiu ustalają się na nowo. To prawdziwa wojna. Rosja szerzy propagandę, mówiąc rosyjskim żołnierzom, że są tam, by walczyć o pokój, atakując budynki cywilne, otaczając główne miasta, wysyłając czołgi, samoloty i terroryzując zwykłych obywateli.

Ukraina jest sąsiadem Polski ze wschodniej strony kraju i, jako bliscy przyjaciele niektórych Ukraińców mieszkających w Polsce, musimy działać. Nie możemy bagatelizować powagi tej sytuacji i cierpienia.

Jesteśmy w kontakcie z osobami na granicy polsko-ukraińskiej. Obecnie na granicy jest kilka przejść - ludzie uciekają z Ukrainy, by znaleźć schronienie w Polsce, czekając w kilometrowych kolejkach.

Po przekroczeniu granicy Ukraińcy potrzebują zaopatrzenia oraz transportu, aby dostać się dalej w głąb Polski. Razem z moim chłopakiem jedziemy tam w najbliższą sobotę. Naszym celem jest pomoc uchodźcom i tym, którzy pozostają na Ukrainie. Chcemy zapakować naszego vana w produkty codziennego użytku takie, jak artykuły medyczne czy sprzęt wojskowy. W drodze powrotnej mamy zamiar zabrać uchodźców z granicy, by przewieźć ich do Polski. Nasza pomoc jest całkowicie bezinteresowna.

Niestety dopiero w środę lub czwartek dowiemy się dokładnie, jakie produkty są potrzebne, ale na razie wiemy, że zbieramy nowe produkty, takie jak:

- koce

- żywność w słoikach lub z długim terminem ważności

- produkty higieniczne

- kosmetyki

- zgrzewki wody

- termosy

- śpiwory

- produkty medyczne

Jeśli zebrane pieniądze na to pozwolą, planujemy także zakup sprzętu wojskowego dla Ukraińskich żołnierzy. Na pełne wyposażenie jednego żołnierza potrzebujemy około 6000 zł. Brakuje im niektórych podstawowych elementów, takich, jak:

- kamizelki kuloodporne

- hełmy

- okulary przeciwpyłowe

Dear friends from the United States and other foreign countries,

I address this message to you and to all who would like to support Ukraine. We feel obliged to stand with Ukraine on these days filled with fear. Russian Federation stroke rockets and attacked innocent people across the country. Last Thursday we woke up to a new reality and still remain shattered. These events make us reprioritize our lives. It’s a real war. Russia spreads propaganda, telling Russian soldiers they are there to fight for peace, attacking civil buildings, surrounding main cities, sending tanks, planes and terrorizing regular citizens.

Ukraine is Poland’s neighbor from the Eastern side of the country and, as close friends of some Ukrainians living here in Poland, we’ve got to act. We can’t downplay the seriousness of this situation and suffering.

We remain in touch with people at the Polish-Ukrainian border. There is currently a couple of crossing at the border - people are fleeing Ukraine to find refuge in Poland, waiting in kilometer-long lines.

After crossing the border Ukrainians need supplies as well as transport in order to get further inside Poland. Together with my boyfriend we are driving there the upcoming Saturday. Our aim is to help the refugees and those who remain within Ukraine. We want to pack our van with daily products like medical supplies or military equipment. On the way back we are meaning to take refugees from the border to transfer them into Poland. Our help is completely unconditional.

⁃ thermos bottles

⁃ clothes

⁃ sleeping bags

⁃ medical supplies

If the collected amount of money allows, we are planning to purchase also military equipment for the Ukrainian soldiers. In order to fully equip one soldier we need around 1440 dollars. They are missing some basic items like:

⁃ body armors

⁃ helmets

⁃ anti-dust glasses

I know that you are far away overseas, however, you solidarize with us and Ukrainians and your help would be much needed!
