Since February I've been buying this stuff, Cannulation kits for large vessels, and sending it to Ukraine. One such kit is used to provide medical aid to one moderately or severely wounded person. Absence of it can mean death.

This is but one of hundreds of items brought by civilian volunteers on daily basis to aid Ukrainian Army. The Kharkiv-based volunteer group that I'm striving to support makes voyages into war zone in Kharkiv and Donetsk regions once or twice a week. Tirelessly and fearlessly they do this job to support field hospitals and "stabilization points" where wounded soldiers get first medical (not paramedical!) aid. It is shocking to what extent war medicine depends on volunteer support.

And it all is funded exclusively by private donations and gifts from people in Ukraine and from abroad. Why I am asking for donation and not donate money to the volunteers myself? The answer is simple: the cost. It costs considerably less to buy such Cannulation kit here in Poland and bring it to Ukraine than to transfer money to Ukraine and buy the stuff there. One simple kit costs about 52 PLN or 11.5 EUR. The outstanding demand is about 150 kits per month.

Let's make it 100 for the start. Meaningful amount to donate is about 50 PLN. But every help is welcome. By every such donation you give Ukrainian medics an additional chance to save life of a Ukrainian soldier.
