Description

The shocking events currently unfolding in Ukraine are a poignant reminder of how fundamental MSA’s mission is:

“That men and women may work in safety and that they, their families, and their communities may live in health throughout the world.”

Staying true to our mission, a number of initiatives are already underway for MSA to provide support for people directly affected by the fighting in Ukraine. In due course, we will share more information about this.

In order to provide our SSC Warsaw associates and other employees from the region the opportunity to contribute directly, we have set up a way to donate funds for humanitarian support for Ukraine.

We are starting fundraising campaign here, on zrzutka.pl through which funds can be donated. We intend to use for direct humanitarian aid for family and friends of our Ukrainian MSA colleagues (e.g. based in Warsaw or Berlin) who have fled Ukraine as refugees or are still stuck in Ukraine and are in harms way. Our MSA HR team is making an inventory of what the needs are and will ensure the funds will be put to good use (e.g. housing, food, healthcare, legal support).

It is worthwhile to note that we do have one MSA colleague still present in Ukraine who fortunately is in a safe place with his family. We also have a number of Ukrainian MSA colleagues working with us in Warsaw who are currently already in the situation where they are doing their best to support their family members who are still in Ukraine or who have recently arrived in safety (in Poland) as refugees.

Thank you
