Mrs Wanda is 68 and lives near Krakow (in Chrzanow).

She lived with her disabled son who was her biggest inspiration and joy. Despite the illness he was struggling with, he did not give up and was implementing his plans, supporting others and appreciating every little thing in life.

Unfortunately, being only 34 years old, he passed away in November this year, leaving Wanda alone with his small hen farm. As if this wasn’t bad enough, Wanda’s older son is in a serious condition in the hospital, due to a car accident.

Wanda’s income is 1,560 PLN. Summing up the costs of 1,485 PLN, she has 165 PLN to live on per month (for food, medications cleaning supplies).

When we asked Mrs Wanda if she would like to receive some extra Christmas gift, she shyly asked for a picture frame- so that she could look at her son and feel less lonely.

We would like to collect some money to buy food, cleaning supplies, poultry feed and coal for winter.
